Touch was launched on March 26, 2006 and is about making connections, making art, and gift giving.
Touch is a 1 year International internet driven collaboration that will result in an exhibit of 52 artworks.

1. Each week, for 1 year, US artist Melissa Shatto will auction 1 certificate of Articipation for joining the project, opening bid $0.36 USD. With your certificate, she will mail you one personal object from her home as a gift.
2. Upon receiving your gift, you are asked to photograph yourself with it and send a copy/copies to Shatto. Feel free to be creative with what you wear, where you are, lighting, etc.
3. Inspired by the connection and your visual input, Shatto will create a 16 X 20" work of art that will be exhibited in 2007. There is also a forum for you to interact with Shatto and others involved in Touch, and to track the progress.
4. Since Touch is about developing relationships around the world, you will be given the artwork to which you contribute as a gift after the exhibit. After all, what do we do to further, patch up, or nurture our relationships?
